* Leading, mentoring and monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting of individual and group goals.* Supervise effective management and implementation of Asset Management Contract for organisation wide Rockwell Automation and control devices.* Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology and benchmark to ensure that future upgrades are in line with market trends.* Resolve day to day personnel matters, administer company’s grievance procedures and disciplinary code.* Motivate the workforce and develop a good teamwork to achieve department’s objectives.* Liaise with training department on implementation of training and development programmes for the PAS team.* Establish, review and implement JSP’s. Keep continuous vigilance to ensure safety. Hold safety meetings and promote safety to all available opportunities.* Prepare annual budget and manage the capital expenditure and other annual budgets for the Process Automation Section. Monitor the budget reports and control the expenditure to maintain the budget.* Ensure a reliable and efficient operation of process automations systems namely Reduction lines system, Casthouse Plants and Carbon plants, marine and Calciner Automation Control Systems.* Advise management on technological developments in the field of information/automation technology to exploit the opportunities to the company’s advantage.* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant policies and procedures, monitor compliance and initiate corrective action where necessary to eliminate non-compliance and to ensure safe working and minimise the adverse environment impact from activities.* Ensuring compliance to Information Security Policy for Industrial Automation System and network by taking effective protection measures.* Provide effective leadership to process automation staff maintaining high degree of productivity, motivation and development.
