Looking after Foreign Trade Operations and Business

Supervise & Look after Trade Finance matters at branch level.

• Assist the Area Manager (AM) in managing and meeting assigned targets for branches under control.• Implementation of all policy and procedures and other guidelines issued from HO, Regional Office and other regulatory authority and ensure compliance thereof.• Coordination of overall branches issues, monitoring, evaluation of operational & Security matters of assigned branches.• Coordination with branches regarding the issues related to monitoring and evaluation of existing and potential business of assigned branches.• Assisting in audit performance of assigned branches.• Arrange yearly Budgets of existing and upcoming branches from HO Finance, scrutiny of Expenses and arrange approvals from the competent authority as per delegation of authority.• Maintaining MIS of credit proposals and trade business. Scrutiny of Credit proposals according to risk factor of SME/Commercial clients and arrange approval under delegation of authority.• Holding seminar, meetings & events with the collaboration of SBP and Universities at area level.• Procurement of assets for upcoming branches.• Assisting in Test checking compliance of approved terms & conditions the branch working in various areas i.e. General Banking , financing and Trade etc, during visit to branches.• Manage correspondence with PDSC, Head Office and Regional Office on all banking issues.

• Providing customer services for credit/financing facilities.• Processing of Export & Import at Branch Level and record-keeping thereof. • Treasury Dealing, Negotiation of bills. • Manages portfolios of Trade clients. Maintain & develops relationships exploring opportunities to provide additional services and developing new solutions to improve business. • To understand client’s needs and offer customized solutions to cater customer financial requirements wherever possible. • Responds to inquires from clients & credit analysts and ensure resolution of services or operational problems.

• Process various trade products like Import LC, Export LC, amendments and follow up for payments.• End to end processing for import letter of credit and export letter of credit• Preparing / generating daily reports and acting on certain triggers in the report as a control measure.• Interacting with Clients for resolution on pending issues / queries• Islamic Export Refinance (IERF). FE-25 Loans• Processing & negotiation of shipping documents and follow up thereof.• Supervision of Export & Import Related Matters.

• Correspondence with customers regarding export documents/formalities.• Dealing with Shipping Lines and supplier of packaging materials.• Preparation and Scrutiny of Export documents.
