This project is to create a web application to manage Reprise base licenses, license management, creation/renewal of existing licenses and generate report as per results. Ability to manage user access control use integrated windows authentication to grant user access to this application. Authoring Tool is a web application with SQL server 2005 as backend. This tool is used to build high level ECU (Electronic Control Unit) data and carry out the ECU Diagnostics. This tool also generates output into a format called ODX (Open Diagnostic Data Exchange) which has become the automobile industry standard now.Following are the main modules of Authoring tool and functionalities supported by them:VEHICLE MANAGEMENT* Create, suppress or modify the vehicle characteristics* Manage the CAN network architecture parameter description* Manage the distributed and not distributed vehicle functionsTEXT MANAGEMENT* Create new text labels with text code automatic management* Manage the display graphical limitations (dimensions constraints) associated to the label* Synchronization between the client's Text Manager AGBT authoring tool and the client's Translation Manager AGBT authoring tool if necessaryECU MANAGEMENT* The ECU data validation. The Workflow Management Software product maps the current workflow process and is for in-house usage to help streamline the working process and aid in scaling its work output by handling processes more efficiently. The Software helps automate certain tasks, collate data, reduces need for duplicate entry of data and provides an overview of each job as well as the total work for management as well as clients.My Role: I worked as module lead. My work involves designing SRS, gathering requirements from client and effort estimation, assigning work to team member.
