Dash Engineering Solutions is a corporation established in February 2020 with local offices in Downtown Los Angeles - California, committed to safety and excellence in quality delivery and cost effectiveness of the solutions it provides.Abbas was involved in the selection of rolling stock supplier for a catenary free light rail transit system in Lusail, Doha - Qatar. The selection included evaluating tender documents from 4 international rolling stock suppliers, with base packages comprising of the rolling stock vehicles, catenary free system, train control system, platform screen doors, and power supply system with options for providing the track and additional 32 vehicles.Abbas was also involved in developing rolling stock technical and commercial documents for procurement of 72 vehicles operating under Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) for the SBL project in Seoul -South Korea.Abbas was the Resident Engineer for the design and construction of Sound Transit’s University Link LRT system in Seattle, WA, completed on time and under budget.Abbas holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Mysore University, India, with MBA studies at Drexel University. Abbas is a licensed Professional Engineer in nine US states, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a member of AREMA and IRSE.
