Bin Qasim Power Station 1Plant Description: 6 Steam Turbine Units (210MW each) with 4 Hitachi Turbines, 2 Ansaldo Turbines and 6 HFO and Natural Gas fired Babcock Steam Generators (each dedicated to a single turbine) Responsibilities:• Complete operation of 2 Hitachi units and 1 Ansaldo unit including Boiler, Turbine, Balance of Plant, I/C, Electrical and Auxiliaries.• Problem troubleshooting and notifying maintenance.• Overseeing Work Permit system (integrated on SAP) - including planning and carrying out proper isolations with Lock Out / Tag Out system.In addition to Operations:• Current - Project Team Member for Electro Chlorination Plant; provide on-site requirements and coordination, finalize vendor selection, oversee Plant Erection and Commissioning.• Nov 2015 to April 2016 - Work Permit System Coordinator; reform system, train users accordingly, evaluate response and introduce revisions.• May 2014 to July 2015 - Commissioned 140 m3/h Brackish Water RO Plant for providing Demineralized Make Up Water to Boilers; Plant consists of two Pentair Ultra Filtration trains and two Brackish Water GE RO Membrane trains with one Reject Water GE RO Membrane train. Project Payback Time 2.5 years.• Nov 2014 to Jan 2015 - Annual Shut Down Coordinator for Unit 5 and Unit 6 (both Hitachi units).
