I support COSTI program managers in creating and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks. I also coordinate research partnerships between COSTI and inter/national research institutions. I am also a researcher; my research focuses on Muslim (fashionable) veiling, sexualities in Islam, and the embodiment of Muslim femininity in the Middle East. My other research interests include theories of the body and embodiment; desire; women and political Islam; transnational feminisms; citizenship, displacement and belonging; feminist methodologies; and postcolonial theory.
