About Abbe Turner

I am an entrepreneur, farmer, fundraiser, grant writer, and local food distributor based in Ohio. I have social capital across the foodshed and long-standing networks and relationships with key agriculture and food industry stakeholders. I consider myself fortunate to work in roles that bring me both personal and professional satisfaction. Within, and beyond my industry, I am regarded as a highly experienced and recognized leader in areas such as food production, local supply chain management, federal grant funding and programs, agriculture business development, and special success in helping small food and farm based businesses thrive. My success spans diverse areas, including as a USDA Technical Assistant working with Niche Meat Processors Assistance Network (NMPAN) helping farmers, ranchers and meat processors nationally, and in non profit leadership with Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA). I am proud to lead a local agricultural nonprofit and a local food and farm distribution company.
