I work with pupils who have special educational needs and in some instances life limiting conditions. Providing an appropriate level of emotional and physical support. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professional agencies to provide effective support for learning activities. I have an excellent awareness of and work within school policies and procedures, as well as the understanding of policies and procedures, I help to undertake risk assessments, and regular pupil reviews and interventions. I provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities. I document, record and report any incidents or concerns I may have using the dedicated school's internal report program on the internet. I liase with parents as to how their child/ young person is doing at school, and any incidents they may have had, as well as positive incidents they have had during the school day. I look for extra training, and complete mandatory training as and when required. Show less
