This involves gathering at least 20 pieces of information for every day of tours that last a month or longer, and interacting with at least that many people to get the information in a timely manner. • Managed a month-long national and Canadian tour with Drew Grow and the Pastors’ Wives, and a two week tour with Damien Jurado. Tour managing is a multi-faceted, multi-tasking experience which finds one juggling not only the interpersonal management of a band and the time-management needed to get them awake early enough to make 12 hour drives, but also accounting, customer relations (merchandise), border crossings and customs, international taxes, negotiating technical riders and set-ups, and driving a van with a trailer. • Pleased to report that my bands made it on-stage at all shows on-time, despite exploding brakes, vans breaking down in the Holland Tunnel, 6 AM van calls, and multiple promo stops.
