My role is part of the fast paced HR Team where I report into and work directly with the HR Business Partner . I will be supporting the managers with a wide range of ER issues and helping support and coach them. I will also take the lead on a full range of HR admin tasks.

The tasks I complete on a daily basis are Payroll reports, People queries, leading the Management team and the 215 colleagues. In my position I have to be very flexible as I am expected to be able to complete a variety of different roles including shop floor tasks, note taking and any other duties the team needs help with. The nature of the job is fast paced and demanding as I am expected to turn around emails on a daily basis. This reflects my organisational skills as I need to dedicate part of my day to different assignments and making sure they are done to a high standard, on time.

I was presented with a new job opportunity from my Senior Manager to become the PA for the Head of People (South) for Morrisons. For this position, I use my strong organisational skills to plan my boss’ diary, meetings and events around her. I book hotels and holiday time off for my boss, as well as for the Regional Managers and Regional People Managers. I make sure that my Boss’ direct reports are completing tasks on time and to the correct standard. I foresee any Salary Increase Requests of Team/Store managers, and action Exceptional Payments for all colleagues. Another part of my role is tracking and constructing any grievance letters such as redundancy and important appeal documents. I also order phones and laptops and any other soft/hardware.The software I used on a daily basis includes Google sheets (excel), Google Docs and Slideshow and our Morrisons intranet which allows me to action any changes and find data for every colleague. The main bulk of my work includes sending important emails to the Heads of the company and working on different Google Sheets. Articulating well in my online communication has really helped me exceed in my new position.

I started off in Morrisons as a Checkout Operator, however throughout my time at the organisation, I gained more responsibilities and became a Team Leader. This included helping out with customer service, which involved refunds and returns, working on the Kiosk and operating self checkout machines. One of my biggest achievements in the company was working through the customer Christmas orders. This was a real challenge as Christmas is a stressful time and being a dependable person for the customers was very important in the smooth running of the order process.

I work closely with the Social Media Manager to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. I oversee all Social Media accounts, the main ones being Instagram and Depop.

During my time at Gee’s, I was a waitress and also prepared a wide range of desserts. As I was one of the first employees to be recruited, this meant that I helped with the development of the business significantly through the busy period. I was therefore challenged to stay calm under pressure and stay organised so the evening service could run smoothly.

When I was at my secondary school, Calthorpe Park, I had the incredible opportunity to climb Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent (Also known as Yorkshire Three Peaks) on the 12th July 2015. Overall we raised more than £9000 which was then split between two charities. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
