As a student at Loyola University New Orleans, I have received many opportunities to develop and showcase my skills. My roommate from Kenyon's Young Writers Workshop program and I started a literary magazine, entitled Meraki Literary Magazine, on Loyola's campus to showcase the creative writing and visual art of the students. Aside from being Co-Chief Editor of Meraki Literary Magazine, I also serve as VP New Member Educator for Alpha Chi Omega's chapter on Loyola's campus; this position primarily involves planning events, planning and conducting meetings between members, and working with my team. I also had the opportunity to internship at Where Y'at where I wrote two articles daily, interviewed the subjects of my articles, and researched a plethora of restaurants to write the Fall 2020 Restaurant Guide. Overall, I have a curious mind and a passion for creative writing, ultimately leading me to thrive in a journalism setting or in an editorial setting.
