In my role of sales executive I am also responsible for admin duties. My responsibilities include creating letters, reports and documents as well as distributing internal mail as required. Processing invoices from suppliers and credits for account customers when required. As a sales executive it is important to maintain a healthy relationship with the customers providing them with technical support and account support when needed, processing orders and ordering stock in when required. In this role as a team we are responsible for meeting assigned daily targets, and at the end of the day I send the figure reports to relevant management.

In the position of Manager I was responsible for the day to day running of my store, managing and coaching staff, and providing excellent communication skills to customers face to face and by telephone. When in the office I was responsible for day to day audits, looking at my stores budget and targets for the month using software such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint. I was also responsible for checking company & customers’ accounts. As a company regulated by the FCA I had to ensure all accounts and customer information were updated efficiently and compliantly, this was essential. This role involved dealing with large sums of money including different currencies on a daily basis, ensuring all tills and safes balance ensuring every penny is accounted for daily. Part of my role involved dealing with customer loan enquiries, this involves carrying out credit & affordability assessments ensuring all income and expenditure for that customer has been input correctly and they meet the criteria.

Here at Costa Coffee in Bridgwater Team Leader/ Second Assistant Manager, I exceeded to produce very high standards of customer service, serving hot drinks and upselling different cakes and pastries to customers. My duties included running shifts, stock rotation, supervising staff ensuring they are confident and happy in what they are doing. I dealt with large amounts of money cashing the tills up at the end of the day, inputting the takings on to the system and ensuring all assets were safely secured before closing the store. I handled any problems which may occur with customers calmly when I was running the shift, ensuring they left the store wanting to return. Furthermore, I then went to work in a bigger store in Street Somerset developing my skills into Management and leading a bigger team, conducting interviews and office meetings with Clark's village head management.

I worked at The Cornhill in Bridgwater as a part time bar person (this was alongside my job at Costa). Here i work behind the bar serving customers of all ages providing great customer service, serving drinks, taking food orders, making sure the tables are clear and the pub was looking presentable. Taking food out to the customers and ensuring that everything is to their liking and that they feel welcome, occasionally dealing with complaints in a calm and efficient manner making sure the customer leaves happy and will want to return another day.
