At InitiativeOne we improve the performance and effectiveness of leaders and organizations by helping them break through the barriers that hold them back. We transform leaders and their organizations, helping them foster high impact work cultures defined by authenticity, transparency, safe environments, and deep respect.During my time thus far at InitiativeOne, I have completed exciting projects and reached milestones in some existing areas. Within 3 months of employment I began leading a complete website redesign. Our internal team designed, wrote copy, cultivated content, and created a functional and dynamic user experience. By partnering with a videographer, we were able to tell the InitiativeOne story and introduce site visitors to the “10 Experience". We implemented a streamlined onsite registration process for our major service offering. This change created a better client experience and more efficient internal process. I’ve also improved our event experience. We host an in person and online event each month. I researched and recommended a webinar feature that was part of the video conferencing platform already in use. This change allowed for unlimited participants through the webinar tool and provided a push to Facebook live feature which brought our event to an untapped audience and generated Facebook video content. Since refreshing this format we have quadrupled our live online participation. A third initiative I will highlight here to bring the marketing cycle full circle will be our email marketing campaigns. We’ve dramatically improved our email communications, providing valuable information to targeted clients and prospects. A quality contact list along with efforts to provide segmentation has improved open rates, conversions, and brought in new business from dormant clients. We are thoughtful in all communications as we want to be seen as a thought leader that provides value and resources.

Marketing Coordinator

Greater Milwaukee Area & Appleton, Wi

With this promotion I was excited to finally focus on marketing - something that was always a secondary part of my previous roles. I had a great leader who allowed me to take ownership of various aspects of Skyline marketing.Digital MarketingI was the lead administrator for site updates, adding content, blog posts, managing contacts, and forms. I assisted in the launch of our new company website in August 2015. Our site was built on Kentico CMS which I learned for the launch and ongoing work. We participated in an extensive design process with an external branding agency along with our internal digital marketing team. We did event based email marketing and I helped design and write copy for those campaigns. I was the lead social media contributor managing our LinkedIn and Twitter Channel. We used social media to promote Skyline content and share industry news and insight aligned to our brand and strategy. I enjoy creating custom graphics for web and print in Photoshop. I've also created reports and sell sheets in InDesign. Event Planning & ManagementI’ve enjoyed event planning on all levels, from executive luncheons to online webinars – there’s a time and place for a wide range of events. In person event attendance has declined as a general trend – we’re much more selective on how we spend our work day. Our team has tried to meet that trend with a hook, valuable business content, and creative messaging.Special Team ProjectOne project outside of my normal job description was our 2015 office relocation. We successfully moved our Milwaukee team from 3,000 to 12,000 square feet of space. We created a functional but fun space, selected furniture and design elements, and worked with leaders to ensure all team needs were met. We were then named one of Milwaukee’s Coolest offices Spaces by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Sales & Administration Coordinator

Greater Milwaukee Area

Sales Support I was originally brought in to assist in Skyline's new Milwaukee market. I assisted our Managing Director of Sales in her pursuits. I created presentations, helped with proposals, and administered contracts. I utilized some internal tools along with the WWW in pursuit of hot contacts and prospecting opportunities. I owned CRM on a few levels - contact management but then also had global rights to create views, edit fields and tabs, and run reports. This all sounds kind of tactical - but I like to think of myself as the Robin to the Managing Director's Batman. We were in sync and I was happy to help her however I could.Microsoft Partner ManagementAre you familiar with the Microsoft Partner Portal? If you are then we definitely have a mutual respect for each other. If you're not familiar I'll explain further. I was responsible for all deal registrations through Microsoft's PSX tool. I managed thousands of dollars in Microsoft program funding both internally and for our clients. I ensured Skyline was compliant with our partner requirements and worked with technical and sales teams to make sure we were completing certifications, customer satisfaction assessments, and sales exam to keep our gold status.Office ManagementWelcome to Skyline! I was the smiling face welcoming our clients, associates, and guests (assuming I had my first cup of coffee). I managed supplies, snacks, and building needs as we grew from 1 to 3 suites. Unofficial Milwaukee Fun AmbassadorSkyline has a Director of Fun - how cool is that? The DOF was located in our NE Wisconsin office so I took it up on myself to bring the fun! The Milwaukee team was a mix of associates from different backgrounds and not all were familiar with the Skyline culture. I organized mini events, random games, and happy hours to help the Milwaukee office culture grow.*Recipient of the 2014 Rookie of the Year Award

Technology Sales Account Manager, Government & Education

Solution Searcher, Order Taker, Project Manager… Magic Maker?! As a technology sales Account Manager I’ve been called many names, wear many hats, and will do whatever it takes for my clients, team members, and company success. Technology, Relationships, and Sales?!My broad field knowledge of IT products and solutions makes me an expert resource for my clients. If I don’t have an answer off the top of my head, I always know where to find it or who to engage. This helps build my reputation and relationship with each person I come in contact with. Since I manage many web-based applications and databases, a fluid understanding of all programs is essential to completing projects and requests. I always take the approach that I’m helping my end users, not selling them. This gives me an opportunity to provide a solution or product that will benefit my clients and foster our working relationship. In addition to the ever-changing knowledge and relationship aspects, flexibility is a MUST; an Account Manager’s day never goes as expected! Daily, I balance the typical load of e-mails, instant messages and phone calls while managing my client’s planned and unplanned needs. Government Insider. As a Government/Education Account Manager I’ve assisted with bid responses and understand end user compliance; sometimes better than the organizations do themselves! With 5 years of government and education experience I am able to confidently provide vertical specific solutions. Extra! Extra! There’s more than just punching in and punching out... I love finding ways to insert myself in other projects and events both internal and external to the company. If you ever need an event greeter, happy hour host, or golf outing MC, I'm your girl!

Concessions Manager

So much more than hot dogs! As the concessions manager, I managed concession operations at some of the country’s most exciting sports & entertainment venues: Lambeau Field, Churchill Downs, Bradley Center, Arlington Park, Ravinia, and the Wisconsin Center DistrictDraft Picks (HR Tasks)Building the perfect team is where it always begins. I led interviews, held trainings, and was responsible for scheduling up to 150 employees. I also submitted payroll, held performance reviews, and provided mediation when necessary. Some venues also utilized Non-Profit Organizations which I recruited and then maintained a pool of volunteers looking to fundraise for their organizations. I also implemented an incentive program to volunteers - encouraging sales and customer service with monetary credits to their commissions. Tailgating! (Pre-Event Duties)Each event required forecasting for both staffing and product. Our team would review previous attendances, weather forecasts, the cities' event calendar, and other historical records to ensure we were producing an entertaining and profitable event. I reconciled and assisted with event and end of month inventories. From these inventories I would then work with vendors and suppliers to request product for upcoming events.Let's get ready to rumble! (Event Management)Have you seen the halftime lines at a Bucks or Packers game?? You need to be a quick thinker and work well under pressure to get through any event! I was directly responsible for ensuring a quality guest experience while managing employees, food production, and sanitation. I was sometimes on my feet for 18 hours a day and I loved (almost) every minute of it.The Off Season (Product Development)I participated in numerous "Food/Beverage Olympics" where in teams we would devise new concepts, recipes, and promotion ideas. I enjoyed the creative aspect of these exercises and found ways to insert innovative features to standard operations where I could.*Part Time 2007-2010
