I obtained a degree in biology and evolutionary studies from Albright College, graduating magna cum laude. During my time at Albright, I worked on several field-based research projects evaluating the home range size and habitat preference of the Eastern Box Turtle as well as ectoparasite density in small mammal populations from differing habitat types. I also worked as a teaching assistant for general biology and cell biology. As a graduate student at Towson University, I am working on a thesis project evaluating PFAS bioaccumulation in native freshwater fish species as well as the temporal and spatial variability of PFAS in aquatic ecosystems. While obtaining my master's degree, I also worked on several projects utilizing ArcGIS and remote sensing, including a water resources project through NASA's DEVELOP internship program, as well as an independent research project evaluating changes in Atlantic Sturgeon habitats within the Chesapeake Bay. I am very passionate about habitat conservation and enjoy research projects that incorporate in situ data with ArcGIS and remote sensing to mitigate ecological issues.
