Welcome to my profile.Experienced public speaker, personal development advocate and passionate mental health ambassador.I'm Abbi, Community Activation Lead for LET'S TALK - a preventative mental health charity aiming to break to the stigma around mental health by educating, raising awareness and encouraging people to TALK and seek help. I work remotely from my home in Naracoorte, SA, where I'm also mum to 3.5 year old twins, step-mum to 3, fiance to my amazing partner, and run our 200 acre farm at Apsley, Vic. We run Merino ewes, Angus and Hereford Cattle and have 4 horses. I have a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from Charles Darwin University and a Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Health and Medicine from Deakin University.My background is in agriculture where I began my career as a jillaroo on a station in south-east SA, before becoming a Livestock Agent for Elders, then an Animal Health Advisor for Gorst Rural when I moved to Victoria. After becoming a mum, I pursued my passion (and qualifications) for Mental Health with LET'S TALK. My children, agriculture and mental health are my biggest passions - I'm keen to make a big difference across all three!
