Abbi Stickels (she/they) is a choreographer, performer, activist, and practitioner of social justice within higher education. She holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance, and a Master's of Science in Education Leadership and Policy Analysis with a concentration in Higher Education. In her full time career, Abbi works as the Social Justice Education Specialist with the Office of Inclusion Education where she prioritizes facilitation and programming surrounding social justice fundamentals. They also work in the greater Madison area as a dance instructor and freelance choreographer and performer. Abbi is passionate about connecting theory to practice and bridge building across communities.Some of Abbi's unique interests include supporting transracial adoptees, incorporating restorative justice into higher education spaces, and better understanding the impacts of horizontal violence and monoracism.
