I am a bachelor’s degree in Art History recipient with over three years of experience in fundraising from positions like Camp Newfound, which is a non-profit family camp in the northeast that supports low-income families and children with disabilities. I also have over 10 years of experience in project management and administrative duties from positions like Ethan Allen or SAS at USF. I was first formally trained at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, where I excelled in lighting and creating dynamic environments for hosting events. At jobs like Ethan Allen, I managed the entire project for my clients and gained experience in becoming a brand steward with social media. After many years in Interior Design, I was reinvigorated to pursue my truest passion, the arts and fundraising. This goal required me to attend St. Petersburg College from 2016-2018 before starting at USF.During my time at USF, I worked in the Students Accessibility Services (SAS) department. Working within the parameters of federal laws and regulations like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has furthered my ability to navigate complex and confidential scenarios. Furthermore, I heavily employed Office, Excel, and Outlook in my day-to-day operations and supervision of the student employees at this job. Finally, during the pandemic, I self-started an online fundraising campaign for theU.S. Ski and Snowboard Team where I developed a peer-to-peer strategy by utilizing Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to implement a bi-weekly social media promotion, and procured promotional gear as gifts for top-tier donors. My technical skills include nonprofit development, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Room Planner, Home Designer Pro, and MicroD Inc. In addition, I am proficient in transcribing course information for disabled students by creating accessible alternative audio files with the Movavi Sideshow Maker. I have the ability to both read and create floor and lighting plans, and have intermediate Photoshop skills.
