As a lifelong learner and educator, I have a passion for serving others and creating positive change in the world. I hold a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe, where I learned how to effectively lead, manage, and innovate in educational settings. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Louisiana Tech University, where I developed my interest and skills in Social Studies, English, and creative writing. In addition to being an educational technologist at Ouachita Parish School Board, where I support teachers and students with the integration of technology in the curriculum, I am also the owner and operator of BayouBeats, a silent disco company that provides a unique and fun experience for various events and occasions. I started BayouBeats in 2023 as a way to combine my love for music, dancing, and entertainment with my desire to make people feel included and happy. Through BayouBeats, I have been able to create a visually captivating and extremely entertaining scene, where attendees can choose between three different songs that the DJ plays on their wireless headphones, and groove to their own beats. I enjoy seeing the diversity and joy that BayouBeats brings to the dance floor, and I hope to expand my business and reach more people in the future.
