Offered support to service users going through medical detox from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Tasks included:-support for emotional and physical well-being -administration of medication -documentation of medication given -weekly medication audit documenting efficiency of medicine administration -general cleaning of support house Through work role developed active listening skills as well as problem solving under high pressure situations.

Placement offered the opportunity to explore and understand the role of the psychology team within a multidisciplinary setting.Within the role of assistant psychologist, completed both administrative and therapeutic tasks such as;-Managing referral lists and administration regarding therapy group documents and resources -co facilitating DBT and wellbeing groups -overseeing the documentation of patients outcome measures as well as assisting the completion of measures -overseeing and completing audits measuring team effectiveness -facilitating mindfulness sessions -created signposting resources for the psychology team Developed understanding of psychological practise within the team as well as developing active listening skills.

Worked within multiple job roles across the store, supporting customers as well as working within the bakery and warehouse. Developed skills of communication and problem solving through working with customers, as well as enhancing time management and organisation skills to ensure all tasks were completed efficiently.
