Maintenance Sales Estimator & Key Accounts Manager
This role gives me the opportunity to evaluate and estimate the costs of maintenance for systems that are already in place on sites all over the UK. It also allows me to consult with clients to understand their needs and tailor maintenance solutions accordingly. This is a very fast-paced, pressured role, which is something I personally thrive in and gain the best results. As a key account manager, I manage Stormsavers larger clients who have multiple sites with our systems installed. This is a very rewarding part of the job, because they are now tailored to me, and I can keep track of what is being done and I am in control of the accounts to provide the best customer service. This position combines technical knowledge with strong sales skills to provide client satisfaction.
Sales Consultant
During my time with Stormsaver, I have developed an in-depth understanding of our rainwater harvesting systems, staying updated on industry trends and advancements. One of my main tasks in the role is to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our systems to clients, addressing their concerns and highlighting the environmental and cost-saving advantages.I build and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the project process. This comes in handy when I search for new potential projects, having good relationships with clients and outside organisations. I also meticulously oversee and maintain the organisation of my allocated estimators dairy, ensuring every aspect is well-managed and runs smoothly, such as teams meetings being booked and phone calls being arranged. After 3 months of thriving in this role, I was offered the Maintenance Sales Estimator role, and gratefully accepted it.
Customer Service Team Leader
During my time at Mercia Garden Products, I had the responsibility of leading a team of ten customer service, installation and delivery representatives. I was appointed as first point of call for any escalation or troubleshooting/design-focused complaints or queries and to solve them as a first point of contact resolution. I was also part of many continuous improvement, H&S and business KPI meetings which allowed me to address concerns, business development/improvement ideas and update the management team on any upcoming events or situations that they should be aware of. During my almost 4 years at MGP, I was also lucky enough to be involved with the development of the new CRM/ data system for the business. This involved many brain storms, ideas and process proposals, many of mine came to light in the last result of the system.I was a very diverse employee who would strive for more, and always be looking for more and how goals for the business could be achieved.
Customer Service Specialist
During COVID-19 the garden building business was rife, leading it to be extremally busy for me and my team. This role consisted of taking calls, dealing with a high volume of emails and problem solving. I excelled very quickly in this role and quickly became the sole person appointed to our email system and I would be able to minimise the email count significantly, to set up good for the day. I also spent a lot of my time in this role identifying patterns that were causing issues, product issues and system issues that can be changed and working on what the team can do to effectively make things better for the procedures in the business. 9 months into the role my hard work and efforts paid off and I was offered a role as the team leader, which I agreed to.
Starbucks Barista
I started this role during my time studying for A-Levels. I worked almost every Saturday and Sunday, school breaks and bank holidays. This role was an integral part of my teen years, it really helped me to better my social skills, discover my work ethic and develop my knowledge of businesses. Starbucks in Center Parcs was a great first job, and the business really helped me develop key skills for the future. From attending DES (Delivering Excellent Service) workshops to serving a happy customer, it was all great fun and an eye opener for my future.
