As a professional with a broad background in news and programming, my true passion is journalism, and using the power of the media to keep viewers informed with balanced coverage of stories and issues that matter to them. As the Executive Producer of The List, I led a team of producers, reporters, photographers, editors, digital specialists, and production crews producing a daily show that aired nationwide, Monday-Friday. While not a traditional newscast, we provided viewers with the latest information on medical and health innovations, changing technology, money-saving tips as well the latest trends in entertainment online, on-screen, and in the real world.With decades of experience at top news stations such as KARE in Minneapolis, KTVK in Phoenix, Cox Media in San Diego, and EW Scripps I have worked with some of the best in the business. As a freelancer,I've collaborated with major networks, including ABC News, Lifetime, and Discovery producing projects and live events.At Cox/Channel 4 in San Diego, I was the Executive Producer of news and programming. As the home for the San Diego Padres, the station covered and aired 150+ games a season while also producing multiple award-winning local programs, such as " "PostGame", "Forefront" and "One On One". Looking ahead, I hope to use my years in journalism and as a newsroom leader to continue the important work of building confidence in our profession, helping to mentor those who will be taking the helm soon while keeping our audience informed and updated on what is happening in our world and how it affects their lives.
