I am a student at The University of Alabama, pursuing a degree in Marketing and Real Estate. I am also an Event Specialist at Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, where I organize activities and events that promote sisterhood, community, and inclusion. Additionally, I work as an Administrative Assistant at The University of Alabama, supporting various administrative tasks and projects. I have developed strong skills in marketing, communication, and research, as well as a passion for creating positive and meaningful experiences for others.As an Event Specialist at Gamma Phi Beta, I work with a team of sisters to plan and execute events that foster bonding, support, and fun among the sorority members. I use my marketing expertise to create engaging and attractive flyers, invitations, and social media posts, as well as to conduct surveys and feedback sessions to evaluate the impact and satisfaction of the events. I also communicate effectively with vendors, venues, and guests, ensuring that the events run smoothly and safely. As an Administrative Assistant at The University of Alabama, I assist with various administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls. I am motivated by learning new things, collaborating with others, and contributing to the success of the organization. I believe that I can bring a diverse and fresh perspective to the team, as well as a creative and enthusiastic attitude.Furthermore, I was also the facilities manager for Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority located in Tuscaloosa Alabama. As facilities manager of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, I ensured the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall upkeep of the sorority house. This included supervising cleaning staff, coordinating repairs and maintenance with relevant contractors, and ensuring that the house meets safety and health regulations. The facilities manager also served as a point of contact for sorority members regarding house-related matters. This allowed me to address member concerns, communicate important announcements, and facilitate discussions or decision-making processes within the sorority. Ensuring the safety and security of sorority members and the house itself was also a critical responsibility of the house manager. This involved implementing and enforcing safety protocols, emergency procedures, and security measures. Overall, I played a multifaceted role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the sorority house, as well as fostering a supportive and inclusive community environment for its members.
