CurrentCurrently I sit on the Board of Directors as the Secretary. I am responsible for organizing the meetings, taking meeting minutes, and enjoy getting involved in advocacy efforts. Working with the City of Hamilton and Cycle Hamilton, I orchestrated the fourth annual Winter Bike to Work Day in Hamilton in 2019 with the highest number of participants to date. I collaboratively worked with various stakeholders to ensure the event was a success and highlighted local businesses such as Donut Monster, Bikeables, Green Venture, Smart Commute, SoBi, and New Hope Community Bikes.

The complexity of my two roles allows me to think creatively, value community experiences and knowledge, foster ongoing collaboration, and create new relationships with members of the Hamilton and campus community.

The mission of the Academic Sustainability Programs Office at McMaster University is to inspire in all students a desire for continued learning and inquiry through experiential education.As the Coordinator of Academic Sustainability Programs, I am responsible for numerous aspects of the ASP office. I improve and modify sustainability course programs, coordinate our communication channels and social media, plan and facilitate networking and community engagement events, assist in the delivery and publishing of student research projects, as well as complete general office administration tasks.
Dog Guides Of Canada Foster Family
CurrentAs a Foster Family, I raise 7 week old puppies until they are 14 months of age and socialize the dogs. This involves training basic obedience, taking the dogs to grocery stores, on buses, to shopping centres, and work, to ensure they are confident in any environment. After 14 months of age, the dogs return to the Guide Dog facility for rigorous training where they are assessed to determine which program they are best suited for. I am currently fostering my 5th dog, an Apricot Poodle named Fleming.
