I worked alongside another intern to develop a monthly newsletter for the bioscience student community in Alabama. The newsletter included student highlights, interviews of bioscience careers, internship/job opportunities, and bioscience news in Alabama.

- Mentor to a team of 5 other STEM & CREATE Path to the MBA students of all academic levels.- Coordinate discussions on professional development, operations within the program, and general college-life advice.

As the director of outreach, I managed a team of 6 other STEM & CREATE Path Ambassadors to generate projects centered on communicating the opportunity of the program and recruiting potential new students.Our developments have included additions to the STEM & CREATE Path Linkedin, plans to build a lunch-and-learn program with professors and prospective businesses, and communications with university outreach efforts.

In this role, I serve as a point of contact and student representative for the University of Alabama STEM & CREATE Path to the MBA program.My duties have included attending full ambassador meetings, aiding in prospective student meetings, introducing guest speakers and running events, and planning projects as a member of the inreach committee.The inreach committee aims to develop strong connections within the program itself, so our major project was the development of a mentorship program, which has since been implemented as a full-scale operation within the STEM & CREATE Path program.

In this role, I updated the website and resources for the STEM & CREATE Path to the MBA's Rural Alabama Innovation Project website, and coordinated a 7-person speaker series to run throughout the following fall semester. This speaker series consisted of professors, research experts, and industry professionals.
