This is an ongoing project. A renovation and preservation of a historical building in the town of DuQuoin, Illinois. The current vision is to transform a once 9,000 square foot hotel into a fully operating brewpub. •Conduct research and lead presentations on the preservation of a historical site in DuQuoin•Promote the corporation•Recruit a potential staff and board of directors for the business.•Continuously develop floor plans and the overall vision for the St. Nicholas hotel.

Member of the recruitment team at SIU. Travel to and from the Chicagoland area to promote the University and recruit potential students by visiting high schools and attending college fairs.•Recruitment of students (ranges 300-900 students)• Advise and inform prospective students, parents, and school counselors about all the facets of SIUC.•Systematically follow‐up with students within an individual territory by contacting them throughemail, phone, and mail. Contacts range from 1000‐3000 students.• Evaluate admission eligibility of both incoming freshmen and transfer students. Make admissiondecisions based on academic credentials (transcripts and test scores), and respond to questionsabout transferability and applicability of credit toward a specific SIUC degree. •Counsel students on different options that are available if they are not eligible for admission.• Assist in coordination of special events, including on‐campus Open Houses, off‐campus Previews,and off‐campus advisement and registration.• Use and distribute high school and community college articulation reports.
