I am currently a laser operator on 3 MKII Super Turbo 5x10 lasers. I also drive forklift when need be to move material. Either a finished product or raw. Learning M codes and G codes. Fixing cut conditions to make better cuts or cutting times. Understanding steel types. Entering programs into lasers manually or USB. Loading steel into stocker. Cleaning oxide off parts to make finished product to next department. Also filling out QC102 quality inspection sheets. Also as my time working at Metalcraft, I worked in assembly building Scag commercial/ residential lawnmowers. Either the mower itself or its sub assemblies. I too assembled OEM products such as John Deere and Caterpillar. After assembly, I became a material handler. Removing finished product from weld bays. Giving welders new job. Pulling work orders. Learned how to locate parts. Used SAP system ( currently still do on a daily basis ). Taking scrap away from lasers. And also, putting in punch press dies.
