Manage a portfolio of donors in the New York City and Washington, DC Metro Area. This includes proactively contacting prospects to further engage their interest and representing/participating in MSKCC at external events designed to raise funds.

Implement Health Initiatives programs to achieve Division goals and ensure volunteers, collaborators and donors are valued and made aware of the difference they are making on cancer in their local communities.Use sound community development principles to increase awareness of and utilization of ACS programs and services with the ultimate outcome being reduction in community cancer mortality and incidence and measurable improvement in quality of life for cancer patients and caregivers. Utilize project management skills in the development, implementation, evaluation, and tracking of action plans to serve cancer patients and their families.Manage and deliver patient services.Develop and implement multiple Survivor opportunities through Health Systems, Relay For Life events, and advocacy efforts.Interact daily with cancer patients and their families in order to meet needs.Act as a credible resource person able to represent and implement all aspects of American Cancer Society health initiatives interventions (event planning/implementation, cancer education/awareness, etc.). Collaborate in a team effort to help achieve the goals of volunteer recruitment, advocacy, and income development, including interfacing health initiatives programs with fundraising events. Seek out opportunities to better serve diverse constituents. Establish and support collaborations, agencies, coalitions, and volunteer partnerships which further the HI goals of the Region, while preserving the identity and visibility of the ACSProactively and assertively address issues as they arise including problem solving and conflict management. Act as the Reach to Recovery team lead, recruiting volunteers, implementing trainings and recertification, and coordinating visits between volunteers and patients.Develop and manage productive working relationships with Health Care Systems within the Region to better serve cancer patients through American Cancer Society programs and services.
