Being raised in Southern Kansas, I deeply appreciate hearing the wind in wheat fields and seeing produce grow in the garden. The joy of watching things grow has continued as I have been put in leadership roles and training positions at various jobs. Motivating others and helping them reach their full potential is one of my greatest fulfillments. I worked as the marketing director at Boren Fundraising for two years, bringing my passion for helping people and businesses thrive to the workplace. Their customer base grew 10% while I was head of marketing. Boren Fundraising now holds the position of largest fundraising company in Oklahoma.Additionally, I run the social media at my current workplace, The Vanek Center for Vocation and Callings at College of the Ozarks. By developing and executing a social media plan, I have launched successful campaigns to promote events and services for the Vocation Center. I have gained knowledge in communication through my pursuit of a Public Relations degree with minors in Social Media and Christian Mission at the College of the Ozarks. The college has been fundamental in my growth as a leader and problem solver through its unique work-study program and rigorous classes.
