Execute permanent teachers' lesson plans and enforce school and classroom policies

I taught two sections of English I General, two sections of English I CP and one Theatre Arts I class for the fall semester.

I constructed unit and lesson plans for an English 9 CP, English 9 Honors, Creative Writing, and Advanced Creative Writing classes. Created and administered qualitative, formative, and summative assessments. Used differentiated learning to encorporate a mix of direct-instruction, cooperative learning in pairs and small groups, and student-centered and inquiry-based learning. I created a unit on Homer's The Odyssey where students were assigned a chapter of the story and were to teach their chapter to the class in groups of three. Individual assignments included creating a Power Point presentation, plot timeline, characterization profiles, brochure, and fill-in notes.

I servered as an Instructional Support Assistant to College of Education faculty for three semesters. I maintained and added content to classes' online classrooms (Springboard) in the form of quizzes and posting grades. I would often attend professors' classes and have been asked to lead discussion and instruct. I created student field experience schedules in cooperation with hosting schools for student teaching hours.

I was hired as a cashier but was promoted to Customer Service Specialist, or front-end lead, around January 2010. I dealt with customer concerns, purchases, returns, exchanges, and restocking and maintaining front-end fixtures and merchandise.

As a summer intern, I performed clerical tasks of filing talent headshots and resumes and answering phones and emails and directing clients to appropriate agents. I was often asked to schedule audition times via phone, email and fax and alert talent of job details and contracts.
