Production Manager
Current• Manages a team of twelve, completing quarterly and yearly check-ins and reports. Attends meetings weekly with other department managers• Organizes the creation of all tv spots, radio spots, and web videos as they came through the department and delegates work to copywriters and editors• Works with outside talent to coordinate voice overs for broadcast spots and negotiate payment of said work.• Coordinates all on-screen talent shoots in house, on location and in remote studios and organizes all shoot time codes for future referencing. Organizes and shops for all props needed for said shoots.• Keeps updated all calendars within the department, including those of outside vendors for on location shoot purposes. • Keeps up accounting records of all client-paid spots and profits/losses on each for every month. Works with Accounting to make sure these are all lining up correctly• Assists in hiring for department and keeping track of PTO • Aid in creation of tv/radio station traffic as needed for dealerships, including shipping the spots to stations and works with spot shipping vendors to ensure our rates are fair and our spots are QC’ed and transcoded properly.• Works closely with the Creative Director to make sure our creative looks it’s best and to make sure each follows OEM guidelines to ensure each client is able to file co-op as needed• Set up and hold meetings to collect data needed from other departments to ensure all spots get out on time. Runs each meeting to ensure proper notes are taken and all info is gathered• Works closely with account services to make sure the clients’ needs are met with every spot we produce
