At Motion Industries, I’ve worked with two separate areas of the business, Specialty Solutions and Supply Chain. In the Specialty Solutions area, I supported two Agile teams, the eCOS - Service Center team and the Prophet 21 team. Now I work in the Supply Chain area of Motion and support two Agile teams:-MotionHeimer - Supply Chain Warehouse Management and Distribution Center Operations-Supply Chain Reactors - Supply Chain Inventory and Distribution Center ProcurementHere at Motion, I am assisting with the Scaled Agile (SAFe) Transformation the organization is currently going through by coaching other Scrum Masters, forming and creating Confluence areas for the Agile PMO and ARTs, coordinating on the creation of a Scrum Master cohort and CoP, and working with Agile teams as a Scrum Master and Team Coach and ensuring delivery and success of the products the teams support.Responsibilities include:-Acting as a Scrum Master and Team Coach for 2 Agile teams, ensuring the effective use and practice of the Scaled Agile framework and coaching them to higher levels of agile maturity by improving their Agile processes.-Coaching the two teams on the adoption of SAFe and assisting with team formation.-Creating Agile documentation at a program and team level to relentlessly improve and enhance Agile and Scrum processes.-Spearheaded the adoption, implementation, and coaching of a Confluence space for the Agile PMO and ARTs.

At Kroger, I currently support the Data Integration and Engineering space where I work with my shared services team and support them as we move to a product centric model. My team, ETL - Runs Bartertown, works on platform engineering, data integration and engineering, and modernization efforts for all data within Kroger. We also assist the whole of Kroger with developing new solutions.I also work with the Retail Sale Domain space where I support our Legacy Systems KLOG team where we assist converting Transaction logs into Kroger logs and sharing the data with our downstream consumers within Kroger.Responsibilities include:-Acting as a servant leader and coach for 2 Scrum teams, ensuring the effective use and practice of the Agile framework and coaching them to higher levels of agile maturity by improving their Agile processes.-Creating Agile documentation at a program and team level to relentlessly improve and enhance Agile and Scrum processes.-Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across multiple unique Agile spaces within Kroger.-Review team metrics and other key performance indicators to drive 100% continuous improvement from Scrum teams as well as significant reduction of carry-over work.-Spearheaded the adoption, implementation, and coaching of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) within 2 Kroger spaces.

As a Scrum Master for Meijer through Brooksource I am responsible for multiple Scrum and Kanban teams for the Store Customer Experience train and NextGen Point of Sale application.Responsibilities include:-Functioning as a subject matter expert for SAFe & coaching team members on Agile principles, LEAN, systems thinking, business process, system design, & alternative solutions as appropriate.-Navigating conflict/resolution between teams, intra-teams, & external vendor teams & coordinating on project dependencies. -Ensuring my teams align on Program Increment objectives & consistent delivery of value.-Supporting my POs & dual rolling in both PO/SM responsibilities as needed, ex: assist teams with prioritization of work if PO busy. -Creating ADO/VSTS PI Planning boards; tracking PI & Sprint metrics using queries; owning the backlog board & maintaining board & work item health.-Providing leadership & technical/functional consultation for new solution development. -Coordinating with tech leads/POs/architects on the creation of features, user stories, enablers, research spikes, product backlog items, bugs; as well as assisting with weekly release coordination.-Facilitating discussion, decision-making, & conflict resolution in support of attainment of value without coercion or dictating the work to be completed.-Resolving/removing team impediments to ensure teams' success.-Facilitating SAFe ceremonies for the Agile teams & presenting/participating in Program-level Agile ceremonies, such as ART Sync, Feature Grooming & PI Planning events.-Focusing on personal aptitude to understand the technology & applications my teams work on. Perform analysis of the business goals, objectives, and needs of the general business environment. Plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities. Identify and implement best practices and suggest how to improve current practices. Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations. Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Compose and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures and installation, operation and maintenance software and hardware. Organize material and completes writing assignments according to set standards.

While working as a student worker for the Special Education, Foundations, and Technology section of the College of Education at Grand Valley State University I have had the chance to provide exceptional customer service, primarily in person, also via phone. Throughout my time in this department, I have helped conduct and develop research for education based projects. I have also worked to implement multimodal composing in assignments through the use of InDesign, Photoshop, etc. Also, I organize and manage workspace, and am adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

The Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities center is a local nonprofit that empowers students and helps them celebrate their culture, individuality, learn life skills and leadership roles, and provides them with a safe environment to learn, grow, and thrive in. During my time there I conducted interviews and composed written content for the e-newsletter. I worked to capture photography of events (Dia Del Sol and Girls Rock! Grand Rapids) and implemented them within compositions. Part of my internship was to complete technical documents/writing projects and support Center event planning, marketing, and public relations through sponsorship engagement. Through this I helped to create a presentation for Dia Del Sol, an art auction and showcase. I also worked on and prepared documents for the mail system.
