Billing Specialist duties• Deal processing – breaking down sales deals and submission of necessary documents to the appropriate financial institutions• Posting Sales Deals – DMS (Dealer Track) accounting software and the accounting posting process for deals and all related entries for the sales department• Sales Commission tracking and spreadsheet maintenance to assure proper payroll payments.• Aftermarket product sales submission and product cancellation accounting and tracking• Maintenance of all deal related schedules as assigned – research and g/l adjusting entry submission for posting as necessaryOffice Assistant duties• Telephone Operator – acts as backup to other office personnel handling incoming calls from customers and vendors• Cashier – acts as backup to other office personnel as necessary for receipting payments from service, parts, and sales customersOther Accounting Assistant Training• Cross-training on duties performed by other office personnel – including but not limited to accounts receivable (deposits, posting ACH transactions, monthly statements), accounts payable (invoice posting, statement reconciliation), title processing• Assistant to the controller and offers an opportunity of learning all aspects of dealership accounting and the advancement opportunities that come with that training
