Provided collaborative leadership, direction, and support for the Ed Fund's diverse programs, partnerships, and team. With a focus on strengthening coherence, mission impact, and sustainability across the organization, I designed and operationalized a priority schools initiative that shifted resources and opportunities to students, teachers, and schools historically underserved within SFUSD. I also led special projects to meet community needs in the pandemic’s wake, including the launch and growth of 'Create Joy', a new grant supporting teacher and student engagement and well-being that tripled in size during my 2-year tenure.To build shared investment on staff, strengthen community partnerships, and improve data collection and analysis I spearheaded a number of key learning and evaluation projects, including:-leading the design and roll out of an organization-wide goals framework where none had existed before;- developing the team's commitment and skills to cultivate responsive feedback loops with schools and program beneficiaries; and - creating roadmaps and processes for information sharing, grant management, and ongoing program assessment, alignment, and improvement.Through coaching, training, and leadership development, I helped build the internal capacity of new managers and staff and cultivated an inclusive and student-centered learning culture. I also led the board’s program committee and partnered with senior leadership to improve staff retention and streamline cross-departmental work.

Supported the SF Ed Fund during a moment of staff transition and pandemic uncertainty by stabilizing programs, securing funding, rebuilding and training a new team, and providing a systems lens to the org's operations and sustainability. My approach involved clarifying priorities, adapting team structure, streamlining communications and workflow, addressing capacity gaps, and building guides, protocols, and procedures for cross-functional coordination, decision making, and grant management.By institutionalizing professional development and continuous improvement, I fostered ongoing learning and impact across programs. Additionally, I developed community partnerships, created communications collateral, managed scholarship funds, and strengthened key funder relationships critical to the continuation and growth of the Ed Fund’s core post secondary access program.

Supported civic action and volunteer recruitment, management, and placement to advance California’s state vaccination efforts for COVID-19.

Led the vision, growth and impact of Horizons from 'the ground up' and was responsible for all aspects of • program strategy, design, implementation, and evaluation• budget and operations• organizational and team development, management, and capacity building• community and partner engagement• board development and relations• communications• development strategy, fund development, and grant managementMost importantly, I had the privilege of working alongside amazing children, families, and educators. Together, we established a strong foundation for Horizons' continued impact by fostering a deep and lasting sense of love, community and belonging. During my tenure, Horizons grew from a staff of 1 to twenty three, expanded the number of students served by a factor of 10, secured a 6-year, $1.2M grant from San Francisco's Department of Children, Youth and their Families (DCYF) and increased the annual budget from $50K to $700K.
