Yoga for golfers incorporates flexibility, strength, balance, core conditioning and breathing awareness with specialized instruction that relates directly to the game of golf. Yoga for Golfers training also specializes in the mental approach to the game by teaching focus, relaxation and visualization techniques. Dynamic exercises focusing on the biomechanics of the golf swing through the 3 planes of motion allow us to make a connection between restrictions in the golf swing and what necessary exercises should be incorportated into practice at home as well as tee box warm ups.This unique health and wellness approach on golf instruction differs from traditional instruction in numerous ways. Yoga for Golfers is greatly appealing to golfers looking to improve their game and reduce injury! By enhancing flexibility and strengthening the core it allows improvement in mobility, strength, power and endurance. By focusing on player specific needs, I take note where the player has a block in the kinemetic sequence of energy and can directly focus exercices and yoga postures to target the problem areas. Yoga for Golfers instruction is equally great for golfers and non-golfers alike. By offering unique one of a kind yoga classes outside in the fresh air on the beautiful golf courses and pracitce facilities, it opens up golf to individuals and groups that may have never even stepped foot onto the beautiful spaces golfers know and love.

As a certified 200 hour registered yoga teacher, I am inspired to lead individuals privately and in and group classes through an array of yoga classes and meditations. With studios at 2 world class hotels in West Maui, my role allows me to interact, connect and teach guests from around the world in a professional setting. Each class is filled with warm aloha and students leave with a feeling of relaxation as well as excitement for their yoga practice, taking with them knowledge and life skills from class off the mat. Areas of expertise taught here include hatha, gentle, vinyasa, meditation and power yoga.

The Plantation Course at Kapalua Golf is not only an amazing facility to be apart of, but also the home of the PGA's Hyundai Tournament of Champions. The pro shop is constantly pulsing with excitement and allows me to interact with guests from around the world. For many, The Plantation Course is a "bucket list" course. With a strong focus to provide an exceptional experience for every guest gives me creative opportunity with each interaction to leave each person with a memory they will never forget. Kapalua Golf provides world class tournament and professional experience within the golf industry.After receiving my Yoga For Golfers certification and eager to share my passion, I founded the first yoga program at the Kapalua Golf Academy. Here I teach yoga classes and private lessons outside on the world class practice facility overlooking the ocean. I have also partnered with PGA teaching professionals to develop and offer Yoga for Golfer's specific schools and clinics.
