I am a highly motivated and competitive individual with a strong passion for leadership and teamwork. My background as a former NCAA Division I Student-Athlete has equipped me with a quick learning ability, adaptability, and exceptional organizational and time management skills. I pride myself on my dedication for excellence in all endeavors, whether working collaboratively in a team setting or independently. My hard work and dedication propelled me forward in my athletic career and I was honored to be awarded All-ACC First Team (2023) and All-ACC Second Team (2024). As a leader on the UNC-Chapel Hill Softball Team, I developed a servant leadership style that prioritized making those around me feel valued and seen. My efforts were recognized by my teammates and coaches, who nominated me for the "Virginia Augusta Leadership Award." These experiences have instilled in me a strong work ethic and a commitment to fostering a supportive and motivating environment. My journey through college athletics taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of maintaining a positive mindset even in the face of challenges. As I continue to further my education in the MPH@UNC program, I take a lot of pride in my academic experience and strive to be successful in the classroom. My dedication to academics throughout my time at Carolina was recognized with awards such as the "2022 NFCA Scholar-Athlete," "2022 Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete," and "All-ACC Academic Honor Roll." Additionally, I served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council at Carolina. Representing my team on the council allowed me to advocate for change and make significant efforts to improve the student-athlete experience.One of my greatest joys is helping others achieve their potential. Whether mentoring younger athletes, participating in community outreach programs, or simply being there for a friend, I strive to make a positive impact. I believe in the power of encouragement and aim to uplift those around me, helping them see their strengths and capabilities.
