Outpatient Wound Care Liaison•Responsible for marketing LifeCare’s wound care and medical services to referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and the community within a defined Forth Worth & Dallas territory•Develop and implement strategic referral plans for territory management, inclusive of cold calling, event planning and educational opportunities, for all patient populations•Proactively cultivate, grow and maintain referral relationships•Effectively communicate LifeCare’s wound care treatments and services offered, differentiating hospital’s high standards of individualized patient-centered health care, compared to other wound care centers within defined territory•Strong advocate for both patient and patient’s family•Recruit referring physicians for potential staff positions within LifeCare’s Ft. •Effectively communicate and develop referring relationships with payers, professional referral sources, consumers and other customers so that their needs are served and the hospital experiences positive business development•Interact with a variety of hospital, professional and office staff from different departments •Provide detailed description of services hospital delivers for patients to prospective referral sources, doctors, nurses, administrative professionals and key personnel•Ensure marketing efforts, aimed at census building, are on-going and constant•Assist in the development and implementation of the hospital's strategic marketing plans and operations through market research and analysis•Prepare marketing reports weekly, inclusive of call, visit and campaign activities, new business contacts, opportunities, concerns and number of referral commitments•Plan and/or attend public events to bring awareness of the facility’s strengths and services into the community at large•Serve as a liaison between the hospital, referral sources and the community•Coordinate communication between patients and their physicians, case managers and other medical staff•Monitor satisfaction of patients, referral sources and other customers •Consistently provide a high level of customer service excellence
