I am currently a Year 2 student at Republic Polytechnic in the School of Applied Science. I am pursuing a specialization track in Clinical Pharmacy where we equip ourselves with skills and knowledge to be able to better serve the public in the healthcare industry. I was involved in a couple of school events since my enrollment in the school and one of which includes the annual blood donation drive. Through this experience, I could learn more about the process of blood donation and how to guide the donors through the whole process. I found that to be useful in my study as patient communication is an important aspect of our field of study, so this allowed me to put my knowledge into practice.I aim to obtain an internship at a pharmaceutical company to better understand the inner workings of this industry, be it manufacturing or on the front lines, and further my studies at a local or overseas university. I aim to pursue my career in the pharmaceutical industry or the healthcare industry in general as I have found myself quite enjoying communicating with patients and others in the same field of study.
