Over time, it seems like priorities change and life puts new challenges in your career path. This happened for me when I joined the crew with M&Q LLC in 2013. I went from an insurance agent to Feed Safety Coordinator in short order. After this new challenge was provided to me, I have realized how much I truly am a farm girl at heart and enjoy working in agriculture. A day spent in the office will ALWAYS be trumped by a day spent in the field, meeting new people and watching your product grow and flourish, be harvested and marketed. There is a great satisfaction in knowing you had a hand in that process. So, I guess I am a farm girl who loves to see the world grow! My career moved forward as I joined Central Valley Ag as their HACCP Director for Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. After several years running the road covering such a large territory, it was time to focus down to one area and get off the road! I joined Consumers Supply in North Sioux City, SD as Quality Assurance Manager where I work with pet food as well as medicated feeds. I took a couple years to sharpen my Sales skills by marketing Ag Machinery to local producers. While this was fun, it made me realize I really love Quality Assurance and that's where I belong! So, a new chapter opened with my addition to NewStar Sourcing and Service.
