Responsibilities included writing for media, pitching and media facilitation, media tracking, web and social media communications, event coordination including evening and weekend work where required, and administrative duties when necessary.

This job enabled me to use all communications skills on a daily basis, and elevated me to a leadership position, managing a promotional street team, and overseeing event and project management from the planning and conception stages through to completion. Administrative skills including time sheet submission on behalf of the street team, electronic filing, and fill-in reception duties were also vital to this position.
