I co-anchor the 5:30 and 11 p.m. news on their CBS channel and solo anchor the 10 p.m. on their FOX channel. I also report.

While looking for another job in television, I've been blessed with the opportunity to expand my skills into print writing. Since late June of 2013, I've been working as a Freelance Writer for Current in Zionsville. Current is a hyper-local newspaper with several branches around the Central Indiana. My job is to help find and write about interesting things happening in the Zionsville community. I research, interview and write stories. I also take photographs as well.

I joined News 10 as a reporter in Aug. 2006. In December of 2006, I was promoted to anchor of "News 10 This Morning." I'm from Cicero, Ind. I graduated in May 2006 from Ball State University with a B.A. in Telecommunications-News and a minor in Spanish.During my time at Ball State, I was a reporter/anchor at NewsLink Indiana. This daily newscast airs on WIPB, Munice's PBS affiliate. It can be seen by eight counties in the East Central Indiana area. I also anchored on NewsLink@9, a live, student-run newscast and Connections Live, where I did live remotes. During the summer of 2005, I did my internship at WTHR, Channel 13, in Indianapolis.After News Ten This Morning, I produce and anchor "News Ten at Midday." I also started a segment on the a.m. show called "Eye on Terre Haute." The first Friday of every month, I sit down with the mayor to discuss current city issues.I'm also very involved in community activities. I've participated as a team leader in the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life," been a campaign media chair for the United Way of the Wabash Valley, I'm a member of the Young Leaders of Terre Haute which is affiliated with the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and I head up the committee for WTHI's "Make a Difference" campaign.I'm a member of the Alliance for Women in Media. I'm also involved with the local chapter of Autism Speaks. Since the first "World Autism Day," I've made a commitment to bringing autism awareness to the Wabash Valley.My series, "Autism Lives Here," won the 2008 Indiana Associated Press award for Best News Series.Then in May of 2010, I was awarded a national Gracie Award for Best Series in "Markets 26 plus" for my series called "We Exist: Girls and Women Living with Autism." In 2010, I won a second place award for Health Reporting from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists. The story was called "Coleman's New Voice" and was about a young autistic boy who uses an iPad to communicate.

The summer before my senior year in college, I was an intern at WTHR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis. During my time there, I went out with reporters everyday and helped them on their stories. I write stories and was able to do several standups for my resume tape. I also learned how to edit on the Grass Valley system.
