412 Food Rescue believes that good food belongs to people, not landfills. Following on its success in the greater Pittsburgh area, my role was focused on expanding our "Food Rescue Hero" app and partnership model to cities throughout the United States to measurably reduce hunger and food waste on a national scale.

Served as a key member of the CEO's team working across organizational departments and teams to achieve the foundation’s grantmaking & operational goals. Managed a diverse grantmaking portfolio totaling over $800M in philanthropic investments, I evaluated grant proposals, analyzed budgetary and financial documents, wrote funding recommendations to the Atlantic board, monitored ongoing investments and worked with grantees to maintain organizational sustainability as Atlantic concluded its funding.

Managed the grantmaking portfolio for the Founder and CEO, including programmatic research, grantee and partner communications and relationships.

Managed the daily operations of the New York City Acquisition Fund, a $150M public-private affordable housing property acquisition fund. Collaborated with our foundation, government and financial partners to analyze affordable housing development proposals, including project plans, community input and financing structures.

Advocated on behalf of hundreds of homeless and at-risk adults to secure benefits, housing and social services.
