Husco Ventures: Husco has launched a corporate venture capital fund with the goal of making strategic investments in early-stage ventures. We have particular interest in B2B, manufactured products companies within renewable energy, battery systems, robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, vehicle electrification, drones, and aerospace/defense.

 Co-founder and executive director of Schools That Can Milwaukee (STCM). STCM is transforming Milwaukee by fostering more great schools for the kids and families who need them most. By providing school leaders with insight, a strategic roadmap, hands-on support, and opportunities to collaborate, Schools That Can Milwaukee elevates and empowers schools, students, and our community. Launched and built organization from two co-founders and three founding leaders to a team of 18 staff supporting more than 250 leaders at 50 Milwaukee schools serving over 16,000 students. In 2018, led integration of merger with key non-profit partner to create platform for greater impact via combined entity than two organizations separately. Led development and implementation of organizational mission, strategy, operations and goals. Partnered with STCM board to ensure strong execution and impact. Raised more than $17.5M fundraising support over eight years.  Drove key collaborations locally and nationally, including the recruitment of Rocketship Education to Milwaukee.

Worked closely with the Chief Operating Officer on an investment in Vision 2015, an innovative effort to develop a world-class public education system in Delaware. Led internal plan economics and potential investment workstreams for the project. Worked with a cross-functional organizational team to develop a comprehensive implementation plan. Other projects include Program-Related Investment (PRI) and labor economics analyses.
