At JMS I manage unclaimed property compliance projects for various fortune 500 companies in multiple industries including, but not limited to, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation. I oversee compliance projects from start to finish including multi-state Voluntary Disclosure Agreements and first-time filings. I manage and reconcile multimillion dollar escrow accounts. I handle and maintain large datasets, review client data for potential unclaimed property exemptions, accounting errors and assess company’s risk and audit exposure. I review and research ever changing unclaimed property statutes and reporting nuances to ensure clients remain in compliance year after year. I have attended the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization conferences several times and completed the organization’s basic and intermediate certificate programs.
