- Working with the store charity of the year and organising fundraising events and activities - Identifying news stories/ activities that can be used to generate local media coverage- Identifying and organising PR opportunities surrounding corporate events, seasonal dates etc.- Identifying and organising PR opportunities with local community groups/ schools- Identifying and organising fundraising events in support of the store’s chosen charity of the year- Organising photo calls/ photo opportunities for local media to attend- Writing, and sending, press releases to local media when required to generate media coverage - Responding to, and putting together, charity/ donation requests, and managing the charity budget

- Working as part of a team to meet company targets- Assisting customers and dealing with purchases, refunds, exchanges and telephone calls- Replenishing stock on the shop floor- Recognised as possessing artistic skills and as a result given responsibility for re-dressing the department for effective product promotion- Responsible for the maintenance of children’s wear and accessories to ensure products are being displayed in accordance with company guidelines
