Completed a service year as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America). Worked with the program, grants, and membership departments to find better methods of member and volunteer recruitment, support, trainings, and rates of retention. Ways of accomplishing and working on this project will be coordinated through outreach with outside organizations and sales, implementing new recruitment and training strategies. These strategies and plans were specifically aimed towards grant-funded and under-served girls and volunteers. This aim allowed girl scouting to get deeper in these communities, and become better sustained for lasting service throughout the community.
