As a tutor specializing in math I teach kids ages ranging 6th grade through 12th grade various subjects, primarily supplemental math (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus) or SAT preparatory material. I started as a Servers Assistant at Iron Hill in 2020. I was responsible for clearing tables, sanitizing and resetting them, monitoring dish and silverware supply at different stations, sanitizing and restocking the bathrooms, seat customers, run food and help around at other stations as needed. This gave me a great foundation of the restaurant functions. I then moved up to Hostess and Expeditor in early 2021. As a hostess I was responsible for greeting and seating guests and managing table statuses and waitlist, as well as guiding other hostesses as a lead hostess. As an expeditor I plated entrees and added appropriate sides, coordinated stations so various dishes are ready at the same time, consolidated dishes from various stations for each table’s order for servers to serve, prepared takeout orders and run them to appropriate stations. This gave me even better insight and experience to the skills and team mentality that is essential when working in a restaurant. I then moved up to a server in late 2021 and remained in that position until 2024. As a server I provided excellent customer service, provided food and drink, specifically beer, knowledge, upsold food options when appropriate, manage orders and food preferences and deliver checks and handle payments. I enjoyed working at Iron Hill as I really grew in my customer service, interpersonal and multitasking skills.

As a swim instructor, I taught kids as young as 6 months to adult aged students how to swim, various strokes as well as pool and water safety. Taught children with Autism how to swim in the Swimming With Autism Matters (SWAM) program.
