I am the General Manager of Hob Knob Luxury Boutique Hotel and Spa on Martha's Vineyard. I am honored to have been represented as part of 2023 MVY Chamber's "40 under 40" for my leadership role at Hob Knob and my involvement in our local community. I have also been awarded by the MVY Chamber with "Outstanding Customer Service" in 2022. I proudly attend meetings and events for the Edgartown Board of Trade and The Martha's Vineyard Lodging Association. My previous hospitality leadership includes my experience as Assistant Operations Manager at The Verb Hotel, a Top-10 Boston Hotel on TripAdvisor. I hold a Bachelor's in Public Relations from Westminster College. I was a 4 year NCAA diver and a two-time recipient of the Coach Gene Nicholson Scholar Athlete Award. As General Manager, I oversee the annual operation of the hotel. I scout candidates for our highly desired seasonal positions, year-after-year creating teams who look forward to exceeding guest expectations. I am highly involved in our guest satisfaction, ensuring all guests feel welcome and "at home" in a traditional Vineyard experience. In addition, I manage our scheduling, payroll, and maintenance/vendor communications. I oversee the entire F&B program, including our daily breakfast presentation and afternoon tea service. I develop the property budget and propose annual purchasing & renovation decisions in order to continue the legacy of our guest experience while maintaining profitability.
