• Advocate on behalf of SOS Children's Villages Illinois by presenting to potential corporate partners at events attended by 50-200 people• Collaborate with over 20 corporate partners and local organizations to strengthen partnerships and build a volunteer base • Oversee the SOS Children's Villages Illinois Associate Board and volunteer base• Serve as the coordinator and liaison for all partner and volunteer events, activities, and programs on the Villages and off site • Coordinate with Village staff members to develop and plan activities that benefit the youth in care• Organize a graduation ceremony to honor the achievements of the youth in care attended by over 300 people including donors and Board Members • Assist in the preparation and execution of two major fundraising events that bring in over $400,000 collectively • Manage the vendor relationships for two annual fundraising events, including the use of the Pritzker Stage at Millenium Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago • Coordinate the RSVPs and data entry for Evening of Hope, attended by over 600 people• Prepare budgets and provide periodic progress reports • Track guest information, sponsors, and in-kind donors as related to events• Coordinate the SOS Children's Villages Illinois Holiday Giving Program with over 50 corporate partners and individuals to provide gifts and winter wear to over 250 youth in care• Provide administrative support for the Development Team including general mailings, donor correspondence, check requests, and purchase orders.• Prepare nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, and, seating cards for events• Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting• Maintain updated records on all partners/volunteers
