OpenSesame is an online marketplace for training - we make buying and selling elearning courses as easy as downloading a song from iTunes.Working with the engineering team to bring customer-focused business strategies to life! Responsible for product roadmapping, positioning, sales relationships, and execution. Coordinates and communicates to cross-functional teams of development, design, sales, marketing, customer support, training, and executive leadership by bringing a balance of understanding between the need of the customer while understanding limitations of engineering problems. As the University Administrator I was responsilble for ensuring successful development, launch, and support of all client universities in the BlueVolt LMS (Learning Management System). I also act as a customer advocate to our software development team, advocating for new features and functionality of the system that will best serve our customers and meet their needs.I also worked as a project manager for our creative services team ('07/08 - for about 1 year - until we hired a full time project manager to take over these roles & responsibilities). In this role, I managed timelines, budgets, and all customer contacts with regards to developing online training courses and internal marketing projects.

Developed and maintained relationships with licensing divisions of state government agencies and local licensing jurisdictions. I manage all paperwork through their approval processes in order to get our company and courses approved, as well as all of the follow up administrative responsibilities involved with reporting all course completions. My responsibilities also included all customer and technical support calls, emails, and inquiries.March 2006 - We hired a full time employee to take over these roles & responsibilities.

Worked as a math tutor in many Portland Public high schools, growing my passion for teaching and helping others learn.
