I am a student at North Carolina State University studying Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a concentration in Tourism and Event Management and a minor in Economics. I am currently a member of the People-First Tourism Lab where I am researching the social capital of creatives and farmers in tourism microentrepreneurship under Duarte Morias and intend to present at the Spring 2025 Undergraduate Research Symposium. During my first year at NCSU, I completed an internship with People First Tourism to assist partners in gaining recognition for their local culture, values, and products through marketing, award nominations, and reports. Over the summer of 2024, I interned at the Wyndham Grand Downtown Pittsburgh and rotated through the main departments that support the hotel and convention center. Those include Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Banquets with incorporated time in Management, Sales, Accounting, and Engineering.I am an active member in many student-led university organizations: Vice President of the Tourism Management Association, Outreach Officer of NCSU Sailing Club (SailPack), and an Alternative Service Break (ASB) Team Leader.
